Bhubaneswar: The coronavirus tally in Odisha crossed the 1000-mark on Wednesday with 74 new cases being detected in the last 24 hours.
As the total reached 1052, Malkangiri too found itself in the grip of the virus, which has now spread its tentacles to 24 of the 30 districts in the state.
Besides two in Malkangiri, the highest of 28 cases have been reported from Boudh followed by Puri (11), Cuttack (9), Khurda (7), Ganjam (6), Jajpur (6), Kendrapada (2) and one each in Balasore, Dhenkanal and Kandhamal.
