Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 tally in Odisha soared to 1,84,122 on Monday with 4,242 new cases reported in the last 24 hours.
Of the news cases, 2,503 were reported from quarantine centres and 1,739 were local contacts.
Among the districts, Khurda led the tally with 652 new cases, followed by Cuttack (595), Jharsuguda (205), Puri (182), Jagatsinghpur (176), Mayurbhanj (171), Kendrapada (155), Balasore (155), Kandhamal (153), Rayagada (134), Sundargarh (133), Jajpur (131), Angul (130), Bargarh (114), Bhadrak (114), Sambalpur (113), Koraput (90), Dhenkanal (71), Malkangiri (69), Balangir (68), Keonjhar (62), Nuapada (58), Ganjam (57), Nabarangpur (54), Nayagarh (53), Boudh (45), Kalahandi (40), Gajapati (27), Sonepur (19) and Deogarh (10).
Apart from this, the state pool has 206 new cases.
Out of the 1,84,122 confirmed cases in Odisha so far, 37,684 are active cases and 1,45,675 patients have recovered.
