According to I & PR Department, 2478 are quarantine and 1792 are local contacts cases.
While Khurda district topped the chart with the highest single-day spike of 876, Cuttack reported 374 cases followed by Puri (287), Jagatsinghpur (188), Bargarh (183), Jajpur (162), Balasore (150), Angul (147), Mayurbhanj (131), Jharsuguda (121), Nuapada (119), Sambalpur (114), Kendrapada (99), Balangir (97), Keonjhar (87), Nabarangpur (86), Koraput (83), Rayagada (80), Sonepur (74), Kandhamal (73), Ganjam (68), Malkangiri (64), Dhenkanal (63), Gajapati (58), Bhadrak (55), Nayagarh (47), Kalahandi (44), Sundargarh (38), Boudh (22) and Deogarh (18).
With 1,25,738 patients having recovered from the infection, the state now has 36,473 active cases.
