Bhubaneswar: The total number of COVID-19 cases in Odisha touched 9526 on Monday with 456 fresh cases being reported from 24 districts in the last 24 hours.
Of the new cases, 309 have been detected in quarantine centres while 147 are local contact cases.
According to I & PR department, Ganjam district reported the highest 166 followed by Jajpur (57), Bargarh (33), Nabarangpur (24), Jagatsinghpur (23), Khurda (21), Sundargarh (20), Sambalpur (15), Balasore (14), 13 each in Rayagada and Cuttack, Bhadrak (12), Koraput (10), Mayurhanj (8), Balangir (6), Kendrapada (5), Nayagarh (4), three each in Kandhamal and Puri, Keonjhar (2), and one each in Angul, Dhenkanal, Gajapati and Kalahandi.
With 38 deaths and 6224 recoveries, Odisha now has 3254 active cases.
