Odisha COVID-19 Tally Crosses 25K With All 30 Dists Reporting New Cases

Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 tally in Odisha touched 25,389 on Sunday with overnight addition of 1376 new cases reported from all 30 districts.

Among them, 917 are from quarantine centres while 459 are local contact cases.

According to I &PR department, Ganjam saw the highest single-day rise of 484 cases, followed by Khurda (187), Keonjhar (103), Puri (91), Cuttack (75), Gajapati (74), Rayagada (45), Sundargarh (33), Nayagarh (30), Balasore (29), Mayurbhaj (22), Nabarangpur (21), Balangir (19), Sambalpur (17), 15 each in Dhenkanal and Malkangiri, Kandhamal (12), 11 each in Deogarh,  Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada and Kalahandi, Bhadrak (10), eight each in Jajpur and Boudh, seven each in Koraput and Bargarh, Jharsuguda (6), five each in Sonepur and Angul, and Nuapada (4).

With 120 deaths and 15928 recoveries, Odisha now has 9287 active cases.
