Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 tally in Odisha rose to 97,920 with the 3252 cases in the last 24 hours.
Of the new cases reported from all 30 districts, 1987 were detected from quarantine centres and 1265 were local contact cases, the I&PR department tweeted.
Khurda led the tally with 762 cases followed by Rayagada (450), Cuttack (323), Ganjam (169), Bargarh (146), Puri (135), Mayurbhanj (123), Nayagarh (120), 94 each from Sundargarh and Dhenkanal, Jajpur (83), Balasore (78), Kendrapada (77), Bhadrak (76), Balangir (64), Sambalpur (63), Jharsuguda (55), Keonjhar (50), Nabarangpur (41), 38 each from Sonepur and Boudh, Jagatsinghpur (36), Kandhamal (26), 25 each from Koraput and Nuapada, Malkangiri (21), Gajapati (20), Angul (11), Deogarh(7) and Kalahandi (2).
With 456 deaths and 67,826 recoveries so far, Odisha now has 29,571 active cases.
