Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 tally in Odisha rose to 1,13,411 on Thursday with 3,631 fresh cases reported in the last 24 hours.
Of the new cases reported from 30 districts, 2,214 were detected from quarantine centres and 1417 were local contacts, the I&PR department informed.
Khurda led the tally with 722 new cases followed by Cuttack (370), Mayurbhanj (365), Bargarh (238), Bhadrak (186), Puri (157), Jajpur (127), Balasore (114), Rayagada (111), Ganjam (107), Nayagarh (100), Sundargarh (95), Koraput (93), Kendrapada (85), 80 each in Jharsuguda and Jagatsinghpur (79), Sambalpur (68), Dhenkanal (56), Malkangiri (55), Sonepur (50), Nuapada (49), Nabarangpur (46), Kandhamal (44), Angul (41), Balangir (39), 27 each from Kalahandi and Boudh, Deogarh (11), and Gajapati (9).
With 514 deaths and 84,073 recoveries so far, Odisha now has 28,763 active cases.
