Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 positive cases went up to 295889 in Odisha on Wednesday with 1474 new cases in all 30 districts in the last 24 hours.
Among the new cases, 855 are from quarantines and 619 local contacts.
While Khurda continues to top the chart with 175 cases, Cuttack has 120 cases followed by Sundargarh (104), Balangir (89), Balasore (78), Angul (76), Puri (73), Keonjhar (69), Bargarh (68), Jagatsinghpur (67), Kendrapada (56), Mayurbhanj (52), Nuapada (46), Jajpur (39), Jharsuguda (39), Sambalpur (37), Kalahandi (36), Ganjam (33), Nabarangpur (30), Malkangiri (29), Koraput (23), Nayagarh (20), Bhadrak (19), Kandhamal (19), Dhenkanal (18), Deogarh (7), Rayagada (7), Boudh (5), Gajapati (5) and Sonepur (5).
Besides, the state poll has 30 cases.
With 2,80,553 recoveries, Odisha has now 13,919 active cases.
