Odisha COVID-19 Tally Touches 5470 With 167 New Cases, One Infected In Puri

Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported 167 new corona positive cases in the last 24 hours, taking the affected tally to 5470 on Tuesday.

According to the tweet of I &PR department, 150 of these cases were reported from various quarantine centres and the remaining 70 detected during contact tracing.

Gajapati reported the highest of 41 new cases, followed by Ganjam (30), Jagatsinghpur (19), Mayurbhanj (14), Balasore (13), Dhenkanal (9), Khurda (8), Kendrapada (7), five each in Jajpur and Rayagada, Sundargarh (4), three each in Cuttack and Jharsuguda, Nayagarh (2), one each in Puri, Balangir, Bargarh and Koraput, the tweet added.

With 15 deaths and 3863 recoveries, Odisha now has 1583 active cases.
