Odisha COVID-19 Tally Touches 7316, 102 Of 251 New Cases From Ganjam

Bhubaneswar: The total number of COVID-19 positive cases in Odisha went up to 7316 on Wednesday with 251 fresh cases with 43 local contact cases being reported from 19 districts in the last 24 hours.

According to I & PR department, Ganjam district reported the highest 102 followed by Angul (1), Balasore (2), Bargarh (12), Balangir (4), Cuttack (32), Deogarh (4), Gajapati (6), Jharsuguda (5), Kendrapada (4), Khurda (26), Malkangiri (10), Mayurbhanj (5),  Nayagarh (14), Puri (12), Sambalpur (2), Sonepur (1), Sundargarh (7) and Jajpur (1).

Besides, one NDRF jawan, who had returned to the state after Amphan duty in West Bengal, was found infected.

With 25 deaths and 5189 recoveries, Odisha now has 2094 active cases.
