Sundargarh: Given the alarming rise in COVID-19 cases in Sundargarh district, the administration has requested people not to visit government offices, including sub-registrar, tehsil and block offices, unless there is utmost emergency.
The Sundargarh Collector, Nikhil Pavan Kalyan, made the request in tweet and sought the people’s cooperation to contain the spread of the virus.
The collector also requested the people to either call the district or Rourkela call centres or to send a message to his official Twitter account for immediate assistance.
Notably, COVID-19 cases in Sundargarh district have gone up to 1,628 in the last 11 days.
