Bhubaneswar: Odisha lost another 40 people to COVID in the last 24 hours, which took to toll to 3970 on Tuesday.
The state had reported 43 deaths on Monday.
According to the Health Department, the fatalities have been reported from 14 districts. The highest of seven deaths have been reported from Khurda, followed by five each from Nayagarh, Cuttack and Bargarh and three each from Ganjam and Angul.
The deceased have been identified as:
1.A 55 years old Male of Angul District.
2.A 50 years old Female of Angul District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension & Hypothyroid.
3.A 72 years old Male of Angul District.
4.A 22 years old Male of Bargarh District.
5.A 58 years old Male of Bargarh District who was also suffering from Hypertension.
6.A 61 years old Female of Bargarh District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.
7.A 60 years old Male of Bargarh District.
8.A 50 years old Female of Bargarh District.
9.A 58 years old Male of Bhadrak District.
10.A 55 years old Male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Hypothyroidsim & Bronchial Asthma.
11.A 69 years old Male of Bhubaneswar.
12.A 44 years old Male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.
13.A 57 years old Female of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.
14.A 63 years old Male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.
15.A 44 years old Male of Cuttack District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.
16.A 64 years old Male of Cuttack District who was also suffering from Percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty.
17.A 54 years old Male of Cuttack District.
18.A 40 years old Male of Cuttack District who was also suffering from Bronchial Asthma.
19.A 30 years old Male of Cuttack District.
20.A 56 years old Male of Dhenkanal District.
21.A 64 years old Male of Ganjam District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.
22.A 51 years old Female of Ganjam District.
23.A 61 years old Male of Ganjam District.
24.A 32 days years old Female of Jajpur District.
25.A 66 years old Male of Kalahandi District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.
26.A 27 years old Male of Kalahandi District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.
27.A 55 years old Female of Khurda District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.
28.A 70 years old male of Khurda District.
29.A 42 years old Female of Koraput District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.
30.A 45 years old Male of Nabarangapur District.
31.A 43 years old Female of Nayagarh District.
32.A 77 years old Male of Nayagarh District.
33.A 55 years old Male of Nayagarh District.
34.A 77 years old Female of Nayagarh District.
35.A 37 years old Male of Nayagarh District.
36.A 43 years old Male of Puri District.
37.A 55 years old Male of Puri District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Seizure disorder.
38.A 37 years old Male of Puri District.
39.A 61 years old Male of Puri District who was also suffering from Hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus & Cerebro Vascular Accident.
