Odisha COVID Toll Rises To 7834 With 69 More Deaths; 29 Without Comorbidities

Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 toll in Odisha touched 7,834 on Sunday with 69 more deaths being confirmed in the past 24 hours.

Odisha has so far seen 1,932 deaths due to the disease this month.

While 660 deaths were reported in May, the number swelled to 1,272 in June and it rose further to 1,884 in July.

The number of children and adolescents who lost their lives to COVID during the second wave in the state is 36. Twelve children in the age group of 0-18 years have been died of the disease from August 10 to 28.

Among the fresh fatalities, the highest of 19 are from Cuttack, followed by 10 from Angul, and 9 from Jagatsignpur. At least 29 among them had no co-morbidities.

2.A 50 years old Female of Angul District who was also suffering from Bronchial Asthma.

3.A 61 years old male of Angul District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

5.A 28 years old male of Angul District.

6.A 41 years old female of Angul District.

7.A 33 years old female of Angul District who was also suffering from Hypertension.

8.A 55 years old male of Angul District who was also suffering from Acute Kidney Infection.

9.A 60 years old female of Angul District.

10.A 53 years old male of Angul District who was also suffering from Hypertension & Coronary Artery Disease.

11.A 50 years old Male of Balasore District who was also suffering from T.B.

12.A 74 years old Female of Balasore District.

13.A 42 years old female of Balasore District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

14.A 70 years old male of Balasore District.

15.A 55 years old Female of Bhadrak District.

16.A 73 years old Female of Bhadrak District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.
