Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported a drop in daily COVID caseload on Monday with 49 people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours against 77 on Sunday and 63 last Saturday. The state has seen 84 cases on October 14, and 77 cases on October 13.
According to the I & PR department, 29 cases are from quarantine and 20 cases are from local contacts. Among them, four are in the 0-18 age group. The state now has 606 active cases.

With 7,389 samples tested in the last 24 hours, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 0.66%. Odisha now has 570 active cases with 84 recovered being reported in the last 24 hours.
