Bhubaneswar: A day after witnessing a sharp dip in COVID-19 cases, Odisha on Friday saw 7216 more people testing positive for the deadly virus.
According to the I & PR department, 4041 among them are from quarantine and 3175 local contacts cases.
The highest of 1091 fresh infections have been reported from Cuttack, followed by Khurda (809), Kendrapada (487), Dhenkanal (428) and Angul (409).
