Bhubaneswar: A day after reporting the biggest-ever spike of 10413, Odisha saw a 23 per cent fall in new COVID-19 cases on Sunday as 8015 people tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
According to the I & PR Department, 4568 are quarantine and 3447 are local contact cases.
Khurda recorded the highest of 1275 followed by Sundargarh (735) and Angul (525), Cuttack (482) and Sambalpur (441)

These cases have been detected from 46560 samples sent for COVID-19 test, putting the daily positivity rate at 17.2 per cent.
