Odisha COVID Update: Daily Tally Crosses 200 Again, 1407 Active Cases

Bhubaneswar: The daily COVID caseload in Odisha crossed 200-mark again on Friday with 203 people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours against 180 fresh infections on Wednesday and 208 cases on Tuesday.

According to the I&PR department, the quarantine cases stood at 119 and 84 cases were local contacts. Among them, 20 were in the age group of 0-18 years.

18. Mayurbhanj: 11

19. Nabarangpur: 3

20. Nayagarh: 5

21. Nuapada: 3

22. Puri: 9

23. Rayagada: 1

24. Sambalpur: 12

25. Sonepur: 3

26. Sundargarh: 25

Besides, ten cases are reported from the state pool.

With, 13265 samples tested in the last 24 hours, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 1.53%.  Odisha has now 1407 cases with 181 being recovered in the past 24 hours.
