Bhubaneswar: Odisha saw a marginal rise in daily COVID caseload on Tuesday as 556 more people, including 87 in the age group of 0-18 years, tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
The state had seen 340 new cases on Monday,
Among the new cases, 324 are from quarantine and 232 local contacts. Khurda district with 305 infections accounts for almost 55 per cent of the state’s tally. Cuttack saw 41 new cases. Ten districts reported nil cases.

With these cases being detected from 57,026 samples, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 0.97 per cent compared to 0.59 per cent the previous.
