Bhubaneswar: The upward trend in daily COVID cases continued for the second consecutive day with 286 people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hour
s against 260 on Wednesday and 159 on Tuesday.
According to the I & PR department, 167 new cases are from quarantine and 119 local contacts. Among them, 36 are in the age group of 0-18 years.

With these cases being detected from 15,467 samples, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 1.84%. Odisha now has 1,685 active cases.
