Bhubaneswar: The upward trend in daily COVID cases continued for the second consecutive day with 286 people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours against 260 on Wednesday and 159 on Tuesday.
According to the I & PR department, 167 new cases are from quarantine and 119 local contacts. Among them, 36 are in the age group of 0-18 years.

Besides, 11 are from the state pool.
