Bhubaneswar: The upward trend in daily COVID cases continued for the third consecutive day on Thursday with 252 people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours against 199 cases on Wednesday and 164 cases on Tuesday.
According to the I & PR Department, 148 fresh cases are from quarantine and 104 local contacts. Among them, 43 are in the age group of 0-18 years.

Besides, 13 cases are from the state pool.
With 14,400 samples tested in the last 24 hours, the Test Positivity Rate (TPR) was 1.75 per cent. The number of active cases stood at 1,437.
