Odisha COVID Update: Upward Trend In New Cases Continues For 2nd Day

Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported a rise in daily COVID caseload for a second consecutive day on Wednesday with 73 people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours against 59 on Monday and 49 on Monday.

According to the I & PR department, 43 cases are from quarantine and 30 cases are from local contacts. Among them, eight are in the 0-18 age group. Currently, the state has 507 active cases with 100 having been cured in the last 24 hours.

6. Jajpur: 2
7. Jharsuguda: 1
8. Kalahandi: 6

10. Mayurbhanj: 3
11. Nayagarh: 1
12. Nuapada: 3
13. Puri: 8
14. Sambalpur: 7
15. Sundargarh: 14

Besides, one from the state pool.

With 10,009 samples tested in the last 24 hours, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 0.72%.
