Cuttack: The Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) will hold elections for six posts on September 27.
Informing this to the media here on Saturday, Election Officer of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) ML Majumdar said the final list of the voters will be announced on September 15.
“The last date for filing of nomination papers is September 20. While verification of the nomination papers will be done on September 21, the last date for withdrawal of nominations is September 22,” Majumdar said, adding that he had apprised the OCA about the poll schedule.
The BCCI had asked the OCA to complete the electoral process by September 28 this year.
As per the directive of the CEO of the BCCI Executive Committee appointed by the Supreme Court, the election will be held for the posts of president, vice-president, secretary, joint secretary, treasurer and a member of the OCA council.
