Nayagarh: Crime Branch (CB) sleuths on Friday caught two alleged poachers and seized a leopard skin from the accused after striking a fictitious deal with them in Nayagarh.
According to sources, a Special Task Force (STF) of the CB had received a tip-off that two persons were trying to sell a leopard skin for Rs 4 lakh. Accordingly, STF sleuths in the guise of wildlife traders met the two poachers and arrested them while they were about to finalise the deal.
STF is yet to disclose the identities of the accused. A source said further investigation is on to know details of others involved in the racket.
