Odisha Crosses 6 Million Milestone In COVID-19 Tests

Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 test tally in Odisha has surged past the 6 million figure. This was shared by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on his twitter handle on Thursday.

In another good news for the state, the active cases have dropped below the 5000 figure for the first time in four-and-half months.

The Chief Minister has thanked the people of Odisha for the State’s success in fighting the virus. He also saluted the spirit of the people of Odisha for setting an example in the state and country’s fight against the pandemic.

In his tweet the CM said
Glad to share that #Odisha has crossed 6 million #COVID19 test milestone & for the first time in over 4.5 months, active cases have fallen below 5000. Salute to the spirit, discipline & determination of people of Odisha, who have set an example for all in the fight against Covid.
