Bhubaneswar: Even as Odisha’s daily COVID caseload continued to remain over 1,000 infections, the state crossed the milestone of administering 7 crore vaccine doses on Sunday.
The Health and Family Welfare Department informed this in a tweet in its official handle on the day. “Odisha marches ahead with another milestone in its fight against COVID by administering 7 crore vaccine doses,” read the tweet.
While sharing the achievement with the people, the department praised the healthcare workers for their persistent efforts. “We salute the people of Odisha for their support & our Healthcare workers for their relentless efforts for making this COVID19Vaccination drive a great success in our state,” said another tweet of the department.
