Bhubaneswar: Passengers at the Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) here were angry on Sunday after IndiGo cancelled its flight to Varanasi because of bad weather on account of Cyclone Jawad.
The passengers claimed no prior intimation was given to them by the airline.
A few passengers got into an argument with security personnel and IndiGo officials at the airport.
Sources said IndiGo cancelled all its flights between 2 pm and 5 pm on Sunday without any prior notification citing ‘poor weather’.
