Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported less than 5000 new infections for the third consecutive day on Monday as 4339 more people tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
The test positivity rate (TRP) was 6.33 per cent against 7.20 per cent the previous day with the fresh infections being detected among 68535 samples sent for tests.
According to the I & PR Department, 4339 are from quarantine and 2475 local contact cases.
Khurda reported the highest of 700 new cases, followed by Cuttack (480), Balasore (296), Puri (255), Angul (226), Bhadrak (209) and Jajpur (207)
