Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday announced that all educational institutions in Odisha will reopen only after the Durga Puja vacation.
The Chief Minister made this announcement during a review meeting on COVID-19 situation in the state.
He said the decision was taken keeping in view the concerns of parents and students over the prevailing COVOD-19 situation.
This year, the festival will begin on October 22 and continue till October 26.
Notably, educational institutions have been closed since the last week of March amid the pandemic.
