Bhubaneswar: The declining trend of Odisha’s daily COVID caseload continued on Monday with 221 infections registered in the last 24 hours. The active tally in the state continued to remain below the 2,000 mark at 1,994.
The state reported 257 cases on Sunday.
According to the I & PR department, 129 new cases are from quarantine and 92 local contacts. Among them, 31 are in the age group of 0-18 years.

Besides, 14 are from the state pool.
With these cases being detected from 14,853 samples, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 1.48% against 1.78% the previous day.
