Devotee From Chhattisgarh Dies Inside Puri Jagannath Temple

Puri: A devotee from Chhattisgarh died after falling unconscious inside Jagannath Temple in Odisha’s Puri soon after having darshan of the sibling deities on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as YG Murti (72).

According to sources, Murti, who was in the Pilgrim Town with his family, collapsed on his way to Bimala temple. He was rushed to the district headquarters hospital. where doctors declared him dead.

“We were at the temple around 10 am. His health condition was good. But he collapsed inside the temple complex,” said a family member of the deceased.
