Bhubaneswar: Director General of Police (DGP) Abhay inaugurated a new cyber complex here on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, the DGP said that the cyber police station of the Crime Branch in Cuttack will be operated from the new cyber complex.
He said that as compared to the number of cyber cases registered, the rate of disposal of the cases is much less due to a lack of adequate investigating officers.
To expedite the pending cases, the number of police officers in the new cyber complex will be increased, he added.
