Bhubaneswar: DGP Abhay on Sunday took stock of LWE and COVID-19 situation in Kandhamal district.
During his visit to the district, the DGP went to remote Balandapada camp and interacted with CRPF jawans. He also checked the welfare measures being taken for police staff and reviewed the COVID-19 related preparation.
The DGP visited the barracks and verified implementation of the social distancing and hygiene norms as per COVID-19 guidelines.
He reviewed the Left Wing Extremists (LWE) situation in DPO Kandhamal in presence of senior police officers. Kandhamal Collector briefed him about various activities in the district.
