Bhubaneswar: DGP Abhay on Sunday took stock of LWE and COVID-19 situation in Kandhamal district.
During his visit to the district, the DGP went to remote Balandapada camp and interacted with CRPF jawans. He a
lso checked the welfare measures being taken for police staff and reviewed the COVID-19 related preparation.
The DGP visited the barracks and verified implementation of the social distancing and hygiene norms as per COVID-19 guidelines.
He reviewed the Left Wing Extremists (LWE) situation in DPO Kandhamal in presence of senior police officers. Kandhamal Collector briefed him about various activities in the district.
