Keonjhar: A dialysis centre equipped with advanced technology machines has been set up at Barbil Community Health Centre.
The centre will provide haemodialysis services 6 days a week while it will remain closed on Sunday. It has come as a boon for citizens of Joda and Barbil who used to travel to either DHH Keonjhar or SCB Cuttack for a dialysis.
Equipped with a 5 dialysis machines, the centre has been constructed at a cost of Rs 50.75 lakh and has been funded under DMF Keonjhar.
Managed by a team of super specialist doctors, experienced staff nurses and trained technicians, it will be run by H&FW Department on PPP mode.
Champua MLA Minakshi Mohanta inaugurated it in the presence of Barbil Municipality chairperson, Collector, Sub Collector Champua, CDM & PHO Keonjhar, EO Barbil Municipality and other government officials.
