Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s Department of Sports and Youth Services (DSYS) has announced summer camps in various parts of the state to engage and encourage children through sports while schools are closed.
The camps get underway on April 1, and registrations will start on March 16.
The camps will be organised in various disciplines including athletics, football, weightlifting, judo, gymnastics, volleyball, basketball, swimming, kabaddi, kho-kho, archery, hockey, fencing and wrestling.
The idea is to give school children an opportunity to gain exposure.
