Kendrapada: After the confirmation at Konark, the fourth edition of the popular Eco Retreat at Pentha beach within Bhitarkanika National Park in Odisha’s Kendrapada will begin simultaneously from December 1.
According to sources, a meeting to review the preparedness for the festival was held at Pentha on Wednesday.
The Tourism department will soon open online booking for the 25 luxury tents that will be pitched on the beach for tourists.
Several cultural programmes, food festivals, trekking to nearby mangrove forests, a photo exhibition, and a seminar on films on Bhitarkanika and other wildlife will be organised during the festival.
“Visitors will be mesmerised by the scenic beauty and serenity of the beach,” district tourism officer Himalaya Tripathy told media.
It is pertinent to mention here that Eco Retreat at Konark in Puri district will continue till March 15, 2023. Around 70 luxury tents will be set up for visitors along the shore of the Ramchandi beach for a unique glamping experience with facilities similar to star hotels will be provided.
