Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government, on Monday, effected a reshuffle in IPS level and transferred eight senior officers.
According to a notification issued in this regard, Jagatsinghpur SP Jai Narayan Pankaj has been posted as the new SP of Keonjhar replacing Pandit Rajesh Uttamrao. Uttamrao has been appointed as new SP of CID, Crime Branch.
Similarly, SP, CID, Crime Branch Niti Sekhar (2007-batch officer) has been transferred and posted as the new SP of Kendrapara. Aswini Kumar Mohanty has been appointed as the SP of Jharsuguda.
While 2008-batch officer Prakash R has been appointed as the SP of Jagatsinghpur; Additional SP, Intelligence Rabindra Kumar Mohapatra has become the new SP (in-charge), State Intelligence Wing (SIW).
Besides, Additional SP, Biju Patnaik State Police Academy Gagan Bihari Kar has been appointed as the SP (in-charge) of Police Training Institute (PTI), Byree whereas Sudhir Kumar Behera is the SP (in-charge), Police Motor Transport (PMT), Cuttack.
