Odisha: Elderly Woman Hit By Vande Bharat While Crossing Tracks, Dies

Berhampur: An elderly woman died after being hit by Vande Bharat Express train while crossing tracks at Humma police station in Odisha’s Ganjam district on Sunday morning.

The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.

Sources said that the accident took place when the woman was crossing the tracks to reach platform number 2 to catch a train for Bhubaneswar. She died on the spot and the body was found scattered on the tracks.
