Kendrapada: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Baijayant Panda filed his nomination from Kendrapada Lok Sabha constituency in Odisha on Friday after holding an impressive roadshow.
Accompanied by a large number of supporters and party workers, the BJP national vice president filed his nomination after his roadshow passed through important streets and locations of Kendrapada.
During the mega roadshow conducted by Panda, thousands of supporters assembled on both sides of the road up to the Collector’s office and cheered the BJP candidate.
The former MP also greeted people during the roadshow and exuded confidence that BJP would register an impressive show in the upcoming elections in Odisha and the country as a whole.
The BJP leader said that the development will be further accelerated in the country and Odisha as well under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. ‘Modi Ki Guarantee’ will ensure speedy development of Odisha and the people of the state are keen to see BJP government in the state, he claimed.
Polling in Kendrapada is scheduled to be held in the last phase on June 1.
