Bhubaneswar: Congress heavyweights Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi are slated to visit Odisha to campaign for party candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in the state.
Giving this information, Congress MP Saptagiri Ulaka told media that the two senior leaders are set to join the electioneering in the state, particularly in Koraput Lok Sabha constituency in the first week of May.
Saptagiri, who was elected from Koraput Lok Sabha seat in 2019 elections, has been re-nominated by Congress from the constituency for the upcoming polls.
Apart from Sonia and Rahul, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will also hit the campaign trail in Odisha, he said.
While Sonia is scheduled to visit Koraput for campaigning, Rahul will visit Rayagada. Similarly, Revanth Reddy will hold roadshows in Gunupur, Rayagada, Koraput and Jeypore, the Congress MP said.
