Bhubaneswar: Campaign pitch for the ensuing Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in Odisha is set to be raised further with a battery of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, slated to visit the state on Friday.
Ahead of Modi’s arrival in Bhubaneswar on his two-day Odisha visit, Union Ministers Rajnath Singh and Bhupender Yadav are scheduled to reach the state to add further heat to the BJP campaign for the twin elections.
During his second visit to the state in the run up to the simultaneous dual elections, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is slated to campaign in Ranpur area under Puri Lok Sabha constituency to garner support for BJP candidates.
Singh is scheduled to address a ‘Vijay Sankalp Samavesh’ at Panchudola ground at Ranpur to bolster the prospects of saffron party candidates for Lok Sabha and Assembly seats.
Similarly, Union Minister Bhupender Yadav is slated to make a whirlwind tour of Kalahandi to further raise the BJP campaign pitch. He is scheduled to address an election meeting at Dharamgarh College ground. He will also hit the campaign trail in Jaypatna area of to garner support for BJP candidates.
