Bhubaneswar: The BJP was ahead in 19 Lok Sabha seats after almost five hours of counting of votes, which began at 8 am across 21 centres in Odisha on Tuesday
According to latest trends, BJD is ahead in one seat after sitting MP of regional party Achyuta Samanta in Kandhamal lost his lead to BJP’s Sukanata Panigrahi in Kandhamal. Congress’ Saptagiri Ulaka has been able to maintain the lead in Koraput LS seat, which he had won in 2019.
