Odisha Elections: Supreme Court Lawyer Sushant Mallik Quits BJD To Join BJP

Bhubaneswar: Supreme Court advocate Sushant Kumar Mallik quit BJD and joined BJP along with his supporters in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday.

Mallik was welcomed to the BJP by its former state president Sameer Mohanty, chief spokesperson Sajjan Sharma, secretary Saroj Kar and senior leaders Ashok Mishra and Mahesh Mohanty at the party headquarters in Bhubaneswar.

After his induction into the saffron party, Mallik said he joined the BJP as he was inspired by the policies and ideology of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Mallik belongs to Polasara in Ganjam district.
