Odisha Engineer, Engineering School Principal In Vigilance Net

Baripada/Jharsuguda:  Vigilance sleuths conducted simultaneous raids on the houses of Dhariya Majhi, a junior engineer of Kuliana Block in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district, on Tuesday on charges of possessing disproportionate assets.

The raiding team found a triple-storey building at Baripada town and a double-storey market complex at Kosta junction at Kuliana in Majhi’s name.

In another case, the anti-corruption officials raided the residence of Surya Narayan Ray, principal of a polytechnic engineering school at Bhawanipatna in Kalahandi district, near Laxmi Narayan College and another house in Jharsuguda town, a house in Kendrapada, his official residence at Bhawanipatna, some places in Bhubaneswar and the office of his wife working in the Minor Irrigation Department in Sundargarh.
