Odisha Experiences Less Cold Night As Mercury Rises Slightly; Check Details

Bhubaneswar: Saturday night was slightly less cold in the state with most places recording minimum temperatures above 10 degrees Celsius. Daringbadi was the coldest place in the state, recording a minimum temperature of 10.5 degrees Celsius.

Several places recorded minimum temperatures below 15 degrees Celsius — Sundergarh (11), Hirakud (14.9), Keonjhar (14), Bolangir (11.8), Sonepur (14.9), Titlagarh (13.5), Boudh (14), Phulbani (12), Koraput (14), Rayagada (12.1), Paralakhemundi (13) and Simliguda (12.7).

Dense fog was reported in Gopalpur, Angul, Baripada, Phulbani and Malkangiri, with visibility dropping to between 50 metres and 200 metres.

The twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack recorded minimum temperatures of 17.5 degrees Celsius and 16.8 degrees Celsius.
