Odisha FC Defeat Punjab FC By 2-1 In Hero Junior League

New Delhi: The Odisha FC’s under 15 team defeated Punjab FC by a margin of 2-1 goals in the final match of the ongoing Hero Junior League 2019-20 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium’s Training Pitch 2 in Delhi on Friday.

Now, Odisha FC has earned 16 points from eight games in the Hero Junior League 2019-20.

In Friday’s match, although OFC didn’t have a great opening, Nirmanyu Singh Atri scored a brace for the team leading them to victory.

In the first half, OFC gave the first goal to PFC’s Moirangthem Berlin in the 18th minute but soon, Nirmanyu scored a goal and brought OFC back in the game.

Just before the end of the first half, Nirmanyu once again took over the net and Odisha went into the break with a lead of one goal. In the second half, none of the teams scored a goal. Thus, OFC won the game by 2-1.
