Bhubaneswar; Odisha FC organized a football festival at the BJEM School here on Tuesday.
It was part of its grassroots development programme.
More than 300 students participated in the festival.
The club organized 5-A-Side football matches at the school in four age groups for under 7, under 9, under 11 and under 13 students of the school.
Odisha FC’s grassroots coach Aiswaryan Pillai and Sourav Virdi were present during all the matches along with Sandhya Jena, Principal, BJEM School, Sayantan Ganguly, Grassroots Manager, OFC and Suvam Das, Assistant Grassroots Manager of the club.
Expressing his delight, Head of Football Development of Odisha FC, Aakash Narula said, “Glad to see such an amazing turnout even though they have exams. Thankful to the school authority for their unconditional support in our revolution of football in Odisha. Invaluable support and help of the school and parents are most critical in developing students through football and other sports.”
