Bhubaneswar: Odisha FC unveiled three sets of jerseys for the upcoming ISL season.
The home kit consists of a black jersey with purple trim. The second kit set is inspired by the Olive Ridley turtle, while the third kit is an ode to the murals on the streets of Bhubaneswar.
The event, which took place at KIIT’s Chess Hall at Campus 15, was hosted by Red FM’s RJ Smita.
Dancer Sailendra Samantaray kicked off the event with an energetic performance.
Players of men’s and women’s teams walked on to the stage in the club’s new kits.
Odisha FC last month launched their women’s team.
Odisha FC president Raj Athwal announced that the club recently launched community programme and outlined its plans and ambitions.
Men’s head coach Josep Gombau, who is eager to build a competitive team, said: “A team without fans is not a team.”
The club will organize another event on August 12, at Esplanade One Mall in Bhubaneswar, before the team leaves for Delhi to kick off their season with the Durand Cup.
