Bhubaneswar: Odisha FC have signed Redeem Tlang on loan till the end of this season from FC Goa.
A product of Shillong Lajong youth academy, the young forward played for the Shillong club in I-League before being roped in by NorthEast United FC on loan. He later joined NEUFC on a permanent basis before shifting to FC Goa.
Odisha FC are currently placed seventh in ISL-8 standings, with 17 points from 12 games.
“I think Redeem is a good addition to the team. He is a player with experience in the ISL. Redeem is a player with pace, with good abilities in both legs. He can play in the attacking zone and outside of it. It’s good for us bringing his experience and competitiveness to the squad. We are happy to have him on board,” said Odisha FC coach Kino.
Redeem was ‘excited’ to join Odisha FC. “I’m very happy to be joining the Juggernauts… I’ll give my everything for the club,” he said.
