Bhubaneswar: Odisha FC kicked off their 2024-25 season with an emphatic 5-0 win in their Durand Cup opener against BSF FT at Kokrajhar’s SAI Stadium in Assam on Saturday.
The Kalinga Warriors, who are fielding a young side in the Durand Cup, turned it on after a goalless opening 45 minutes and pumped in 5 goals in the Group E contest.
Rahul opened the floodgates in the 50th minute and Aphoba doubled the lead 5 minutes later.
Givson Singh netted a brace (58 and 78th minute), while Roshan chipped with one in between (77th).
OFC will face local side Bodoland FC on August 6 and NorthEast United in their toughest clash on August 16.
