Jajpur: A female traffic officer was left with serious head injuries when miscreants allegedly attacked her with a boulder while she was on duty here.
The injured cop was identified as Inspector Bijayini Malla posted at Chandikhol Traffic Police Station.
The incident took place while she was checking vehicles at Mansamara Square.
She was later admitted to a hospital.
Meanwhile, Barchana police have lodged an FIR and launched an investigation into the incident.
